Covid is still annoyingly persistent, still wearing masks to school and work. BUT, opposed to my last post, I would not say it's on the forefront of our minds anymore. No masks required at stores anymore! Things seem to be settling down.
I've been busy with my paid and unpaid jobs lately. Getting more responsibilities volunteering at Tripler's Labor & Delivery. Spending all school day on Fridays as a school nurse. I prefer L&D in the hospital, lots of critical thinking and hands on. However, I also like getting paid and having a real job, and having accountability. I also love being a healthcare worker in not a healthcare setting.
Bobby has been busy as Chief of Dermatology department, lots of staffing/nursing/scheduling duties on top of his regular patients. Bobby has been taking advantage of mom's flight benefits and has been to Corvallis, Springville, Pasco, Boston, Colorado Springs this year. We have actively been looking for a job for summer 2023. It's been very difficult for us to narrow down a location, as everywhere has it's pros and cons and we've never had the freedom to choose before. We would love for this to be our last home, so we want to make sure we pick the right place. I'm stressed!
The water issue has resolved. Back to our homes. They are draining the massive fuel tank. Our names are on the registry.
Bobby coached Troy in his basketball season. Lots of friends on the team, but we only won one game. The boys are now in baseball and having a great season. It's a great team! Not particularly liking school, hoping to be homeschooled next year.
Ashley got married to the best guy, Jared Hyer, from Vegas. I am so very happy for them. They are the cutest couple. We went to Colorado Springs for the wedding, then grandma and grandpa drove us to St. George to spend time at their house.
While in CS, we met dad's half sister that he had never met before. She was from grandpa's first marriage. She grew up an only child and found out about her half siblings when she served a mission to Germany. She is so kind and personable and I am so happy to have found her.
Boys got Covid in February. Very mild, only had a fever for a couple hours. Had to quarantine for 5 days. Didn't test anyone else, but we probably all had it, Bobby first.
