For those of you just joining in, I've made a new tradition. Every year, around March 17 - when Bobby proposed to me 4 years ago and we decided to become a family - I blog about a average day in the life of our family. Just to remember.
Here is a typical day in 2015:
5:00 AM Bobby wakes and leaves for work/school
-Always changing, but always early. I'm a bad wife by barely even waking!
7:00 AM Troy wakes up
-Never predictable, but always seems early to me
-I go get him, then put him in bed with me with toys and he plays (i.e. eats me) while I wake up
8:00 AM Breakfast
-Usually omelets, bananas or smoothies
-Troy LOVES breakfast, favorite meal of the day
-We watch Kylee get ready for school
Breakfast - 10:00 AM
-Get ready & dressed for the day
- Clean up the basement
-Go for a walk (but only if the weather is nice!)
10:00 AM Naptime!
-Jessica crosses off her to-do list, reads scriptures
12:00 PM Troy wakes & Lunch
-Troy "reads" scriptures
-Always trying to figure out what to give Troy for lunch!
Lunch - 3:00 PM
-Perhaps a walk if it was too cold this morning
-Often errands - shopping, groceries, appointments, etc.
-Jessica gets ready for dinner, or does other random things
4:00 PM Dad is home
-I'm so glad!
6:00 PM Dinner
-With the Ellsworth family, but always missing at least one person
7:00 PM Play
-With Aunt Kylee, Grandma, Dad
-Watch American Idol or Survivor
-Bath for Troy
9:00 PM Bed for Troy
10:30 PM Bed for parents
Tuesday or Thursday I work - Mom watches Troy
Sunday is church
Wednesday is activity days
