So close to crawling!

His little grunting kills me :)
He will crawl towards paper of any kind, laptops and cell phone. Nothing else is worth the effort :)

Months and months after graduating, I finally got a nursing job! And although I was tempted to accept some pretty...hard... jobs, patience pays off in the end because I love my new job!
I'm working as a PACU (Post-anestesia care unit) nurse in a surgery center, i.e. helping patients wake up from surgery. They only do surgeries once a week, so I'm very part time, which is good because I couldn't leave my baby for much longer than I do!!
Don't mind the hair...

We had a great Thanksgiving with the Marshalls and Michael's cadet friend Will. Troy got to try cranberry sauce and really liked it.

Troy has decided to be a dentist.

His life is just pure joy every day; which makes my life pure joy.

We went to a very close AFA/CSU game today and AFA came out on top!

Bobby is back at the AFA for a rotation this month. Match is 17 days away !       !     !

Halloween

Halloween is my favorite holiday!!
Out of this and the Fourth of July, Halloween is Troy's favorite so far also.

The annual posing like our pumpkin, I built a little pumpkin house behind Kylee.

Troy is practicing his vampire face lol!!!

Troy was the Biggest Loser for Halloween :) :) Ha. Luckily he's kept his rolls on him.
And besides his costume, do you notice anything about this picture?!?

Like he's sitting up by himself!!?!?!
Only for long enough to take a picture or two. But still!

:)

With his trainer...

and his other trainer...

At the Trunk-r-Treat party our church put on

But you can't have a sleeveless costume in Colorado Springs, so by night the Biggest Loser turned into a dinosaur/dragon.

We took him trick-r-treating for an hour, although I felt bad when they gave us candy.

He fell asleep right when we got into the car

and was totally wiped the rest of the night :)

Best of all, Kylee dressed up as ME this year for Halloween! (She doesn't like me saying that - technically her costume was just "Troy's Mom")

Notice the hair half curled, half in curlers...trying to tell me something??

Troy got to be a part of the elementary school parade even. He liked the kids and classroom!

Would you look at this baby!? (And cute Kylee's excitement for him?)

Will he be crawling next time I post??? Who knows!

Bobby in Haiti

Bobby had a wonderful opportunity to take a medical trip down to rural Haiti with the Haiti Health Initiative and his dad, brother Marcus and sister-in-law Becca (and others).

They got dropped off the side of the highway and had to hike 45 minutes to the village they were working at.

The women of Colorado Springs helped with the Sanipad project, and Becca distributed them. I heard they were a huge hit :) A big thank you to everyone in my stake who helped, here is Becca with one of our sanipads :)

! Eek!

I want to go next time!!!
